Thank you to everyone who came out to share their thoughts on transportation in Tualatin!

The project team wrapped up our first phase of engagement in November, and we learned so much from you during the open house, survey, and three focus groups. Here are some key takeaways from these recent events and activities: 

• Maintaining adequate function of the road system (both in and beyond the City) is a top priority for many respondents
• Survey respondents would like to bike, walk, and carpool more—and drive less.
• Investing in safe routes for students to walk and bike to school is a top priority for residents.
• Efficiency, safety, and economy are the priorities for survey respondents for the Transportation System Plan goals.
• Survey respondents and focus group participants want increased coverage and frequency of TriMet and Tualatin Shuttle.
• Both survey respondents and focus group participants mentioned concerns about the lack of lighting or a desire to improve lighting.
