The City of Tualatin is updating its Transportation System Plan (TSP), the long-range document that guides future investment in the city’s transportation network. The TSP will consider auto, freight, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian travel in Tualatin and identify projects, policies, and programs to meet the community’s transportation needs now and in the future. This TSP update will bring together community members, city staff, and council leadership to establish a shared understanding of how the transportation system operates today, needed improvements, and a vision for enhancing community mobility.

Why is this important?

The TSP outlines how the City will use policy and funding to meet our community goals for transportation. The current TSP is 10 years old and Tualatin has accomplished a lot in the last decade, including through the Tualatin Moving Forward Bond program. We need a new list of priority projects to be eligible for state and federal transportation funds.
